I've always been passionate about making a difference. For 20 years, I helped people hear better, honing my skills in customer service, sales, employee management, training sessions, and marketing until I sold the practice in 2014. Wearing so many hats in my first large business endeavor was instrumental in becoming the coach I am today. This journey taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of meaningful connection—all of which I bring to my coaching practice today.

Growing into a connector has been one of my favorite areas of growth. I grew and ran two chapters of an international women's networking organization, connecting women and supporting their entrepreneurial endeavors. This included grants for non-profits and an annual trip with a large delegate of women to the ICON International Conference. These experiences taught me the power of community, collaboration, and lifting others up—all of which continue to inspire my work as a coach.

Another pivotal area of growth for me was my hobby of ballroom dancing. Learning to connect with my partners in deep, vulnerable ways while training and competing at high levels taught me how to connect with respect and curiosity. The intense training taught me how to set big goals and achieve them through discipline, time management, and creativity. These lessons have enriched my coaching practice, helping me understand the balance needed for both personal and professional success.

Founding a non-profit to provide belonging to youth who have been abandoned and unseen for most of their lives has been the most profound experience of my life. Creating a space where these young individuals feel valued and understood, teaches me the importance of belonging, empathy, and unwavering support. This work has shaped my commitment to helping others build meaningful connections, and it is the heart of everything I do as a coach.
